Ted's Big Ride 2009---Day Fifty-One (Last Day on the Road)

The last day...I got a fairly early start, the weather was great, and I had smooth sailing on this final day.

It has been a GREAT ADVENTURE, with several unfortunate instances (all recoverable), but with MANY, MANY Great Experiences. I met a wonderful cross-section of the US population and many international visitors. Saw an enormous variety of this country, and the continent. It was tiring, but in a very satisfying and rewarding way. I don't know if I will do another extra long road trip like this one, but one think is for sure ...
I am not going to slow down just yet.

This 2009 Big Ride is now history and on the site for reminiscing in my later years.

Now to start contemplating the next challenging adventure...any suggestions?

"These are the guys that loan you a cucumber and then expect 3 pickles in interest each week."
