Ted's Big Perimeter Ride - Day 35

I had no idea what today would bring. I just wanted to head south into the Sierra Nevada's and make my way toward the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. I was just going to follow Rt 89 south, but as it wore on I figured I should try to be near a town at dinner time. So, I shifted a little further East and landed in Susanville. I checked TripAdvisor and sorted thru the Restaurant Reviews. Turns out that was the right decision, because in addition to a good meal, I got to meet another Harley rider at 'Skinny's Ribs & Bibs.' I called home to Claudia, and we discussed shelter possibilities. Found a reasonable motel and was able to get back up to date for all of my followers. Now tomorrow I can ride off with nothing on my plate. Cheers and Good Night!

    Today = 216 miles,
    Total   = 8,391 miles
Riding Time:
    Today = 7-Hours, 23-Min,
    Total   = 10-Days, 20-Hours, 43-Min
A selfie - I have reached Callifornia, again ;-)
Mount Shasta - 14,179 feet

Mount Shasta, again. Just lovely.

Just a ride down Ponderosa Pine Way...
Another stream to replenish my cooling vest - Yes, it is starting to get warm.

A view of Hat Creek Valley, which had been destroyed by major fires in 1987 and 1991.
I met Rick Schultz at 'Skinny's Ribs & Bibs'. He highly recommended the place and had recently been to WDC for the Wounded Warrier Ride. Small World. Thanks for the recommendations, Rick. I had a very enjoyable Brisket Dinner. Ride Safe my friend.
