Ted's Big Ride---Day Twenty-Seven

Toiyabe National Forest (Leavitt Meadows Campground), CA to Eurika, NV.
May 26, 2006

Last night the Milky Way was in full glory, AHH what a sight for sore eyes. I camped at about 6500 ft and the sky was crystal clear. The birds and the roaring creek woke me up at 0600 hours and the day began.

11:22:20 PM Eureka, NV. Had a fair steak dinner. The town is really hopping, all rooms booked for a big rodeo weekend. I get to camp out again. No loss because this lousy Best Western did not even have Internet access. I am in a campground with a Harley neighbor and a bicycle guy peddling across the country. That is a totally different adventure where I do not need to go.
